Volviendo is a documentary that follows three filmmakers as they research for a fictional feature film about a sex slave from Latin America. But after a dangerous trip through a dozen Latin countries, their hearts are changed by the brokenness of the victims, and their quest to make a movie becomes a compelling story within itself. With first-hand interviews on the frontlines of this social injustice, Volviendo digs to the universal roots of the issue and presents a comprehensive solution that involves you.

Houston’s Latin American population and busy cantina districts make the lessons of Volviendo especially applicable in our city. Elijah Rising’s Spanish Language Initiative coordinates screenings and mobilizes the Hispanic faith community to take their place in the fight against sex trafficking among this population. UNTOUCHABLE: Children of God

UNTOUCHABLE is estimated that over 10,000 girls are trafficked from Nepal to India annually, cruelly driven over the border by force or lured by the false promise of work. The average age of a Nepali girl trafficked to India is 13 years old. A mere 1% of these sex slaves ever escape or get rescued.

film explores the stories of the people most vulnerable to human trafficking, the “Untouchables” of society, specifically the Badi people of Nepal and the Dalits of India.

The red light areas of India are dangerous, lawless places ruled by mafia and gangs. Despite these seemingly insurmountable odds, there are a growing number of abolitionists and social advocates taking action to help end this brutal form of modern day slavery.

Featuring exclusive interviews with survivors and those serving on the front lines, UNTOUCHABLE: CHILDREN OF GOD highlights stories of hope and the heroes risking their lives to rescue and protect these forgotten angels. Look into the eyes of young survivors as they share their stories and you will be touched by the untouchables.
