In response to recent concerns regarding COVID-19, the staff of Elijah Rising is closely monitoring updates from public health authorities, local officials, and government agencies. As a result, Elijah Rising is taking immediate and proactive measures to keep the health and safety of our volunteers, supporters, and the women we serve as our highest priority.
Beginning today, the following measures are in place:
- All Intervention outreaches are suspended for the month of March.
- All Van Tours are postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.
- The Elijah Rising Store and Museum of Modern-Day Slavery will remain open for business and maintain regular hours of operation.
- The Elijah Rising main office will continue to operate during regular business hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause. We will continue to appropriately update our response as the situation progresses and our staff will communicate these updates through email, social media, and our website: www.elijahrising.org.
Please join us in prayer for those who are impacted by the virus, for our community as a whole, and for the women whose vulnerability continues to be exploited.
